Andreas W. Engelhardt, former senior manager at Oerlikon Textile International Business, is the founder and president of The Fiber Year GmbH. The company’s target is to provide international expertise, analyses, strategy consulting and customized solutions. The company’s strategic advantage after broadening its scope is to offer a holistic approach from fibers to fabrics following the general idea to bridge fiber and filament manufacturing with subsequent processing activities in knitting, weaving and nonwovens fabric production.
